What’s the minimum hire time?

All studio bookings require a minimum of 3 hours. This allows enough time for setup, shooting, and pack-down without feeling rushed.

Do you provide lighting & backdrops?

Yes, we have a full range of lighting and backdrop options available such as — Flashes, Continuous lights, Soft-boxes, Umbrellas, Diffusers, Coloured paper backdrop rolls (charged per metre)

Is there a makeup/dressing area?

Yes. We have a dedicated makeup & dressing room with illuminated mirrors, perfect for talent prep and styling.

Is the studio accessible?

Yes, Studio in the Mill is accessibility-friendly.

How do I secure a booking?

Bookings can be made by filling out the enquiry form on our website or by contacting us directly. A deposit may be required depending on your session type.

Can I paint or customise the walls for my set?

Yes — certain walls can be painted or styled for your production.
Please discuss your vision with us beforehand so we can approve the setup.

Is there parking available?

Yes. There is free all-day street parking directly outside the studio.

What amenities are included?

Every booking includes:

  • Kitchenette & fridge

  • Coffee & water

  • Private changing area

  • Lounge space

  • Restroom facilities

Can I bring my own equipment?

Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring your own lighting, props, camera gear, or modifiers. The space is designed to accommodate both professional and DIY setups.

How many people can the studio accommodate?

The studio comfortably fits up to 30 people, with 25 recommended for workshops or larger group activities.
There’s plenty of space for crew, presenters, talent, and equipment.

Can I visit the studio before booking?

Yes — we encourage it!

How clean should I leave the studio?

  • We expect the studio to be left in reasonable condition.

  • If using paper backdrops, only the used linear metres will be charged.

  • If extra cleaning is required, an additional fee may apply.
